Pathways to Art ProgramPhoto by intern Hannah Petersen
Hannah is taking part in the Pathways to Art program whereby she interns with a master artist at the gallery, in this instance Hannah is working with photographer Lily Hadrava.
Interns must complete 15 hours of one-on-one study with their mentor, complete a resume and artist statement, allow photography of their work for future publicity, prepare artwork for an exhibit, have parental signature if under the age of 18, and undergo an interview process. The minimum age to participate is 13.
Applicants need to include a reference letter from a teacher or someone who knows the quality of your work, a parental statement in support of the applicant, and at least 5 photos of work that you have completed in the last year. Any questions may be directed to: president@looncountryarts.org

First Saturday has been cancelled until further notice due to storm damage. The Creative Cafe activities will continue however but will be held at the Beltrami County History Center.
The October Creative Cafe will take place from 11:00 - 1:00 on Oct 4 and will be held at the Beltrami County History Center. Elaine Netland will lead participants to create winter themed note cards and gift tags using watercolors.There is no charge for this activity.

Loon Country Arts is a non-profit, artist run gallery for artists in Bemidji and the surrounding area. Loon Country Arts is dedicated to promoting the fine arts and benefitting the greater Bemidji community and the downtown business district.

Gift certificates are available in any amount and are redeemable at Loon Country Arts in Bemidji, Minnesota. Gift Certificates are non-taxable and we will mail it free for you.
